Held on the third Friday of every October, International Cuisine Day is a celebration of global gastronomy and the foods and flavors that make cuisine from around the world truly unique. This year, we marked the occasion with an even larger celebration as a toast to the 10th anniversary of Nametag Day, coming up in February.
“International Cuisine Day is a culinary adventure for both seasoned world travelers and those with a more modest palate.” says Vanessa Hughes, Assistant Director of Marketing for Concordia Language Villages, “For us it’s also a great way to relive a Concordia Language Villages summer as summer is never far from our hearts.”
International Cuisine Day and Nametag Day are just a couple of the special occasions that occupy the 2011-2012 calendar year, as Concordia Language Villages will also be celebrating the 50th anniversaries of Skogfjorden and El Lago del Bosque.
“With so many anniversaries this year, it really is a year of celebrations!” says Vanessa.
